Day 14 - Cardiff to Thornbury

We woke early and headed to the Cardiff Castle first thing.  It was pretty cool.  It is right in the centre of town!
Then we climbed to the top of the keep and checked out the view.

The keep even had a moat!  AWESOME!!!!

The castle has a falconry Section and this guy was huge.  He reminded me of Ron's owl from Harry Potter.
We then picked up our wheels for our next spot of driving.

This cool bridge was on the way to Thornbury.  It was really really long.

Then we were in Thornbury for our castle stay, and I was falling in love, again.
This was our room.
 We had our own fireplace.
 This was our bathroom.
And this was the key to our room, it was huge!

The castle even had its own suit of armour.

We went for an explore and found this set of Shakespeare's novels.  The print date was 1813, they were 200 years old!!

We wondered round the grounds and then into the village where we had a walk through the church and had a coffee and cake.

We spent a wonderful night in an absolutely beautiful place.
